Nupura 2019 was held on 16th of August 2019 at the audirorium  of  Institute of Indigenous Medicine . This event was organized by the Students counselors for Aesthetic affairs of the IIM , Dr.(Mrs) Y.S.G Wimalasiri , Dr.K.K.V.S Peshala & Dr. M.S.M Nasmeer .

Ayurveda Premier League (APL) organized by the Sport sub- committee of Institute of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo was held on 11th of July 2019 at the Main playground of the Institute.

“Wasitiye Husma Musical discussion programme organized by Art Sub Committee of Institute of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo on 09th of July 2019 at institute’s premises .

Indigenous Medicine Students’ Committee of the Institute of Indigenous Medicine of the University of Colombo celebrated Sinhala and Tamil New Year with a grand Awurudu Uthsawaya; “Soorya Mangalya 2019” on 4th of April 2019 at the playground of the Institute.  

Department of Dravyaguna Vignana of Institute of Indigenous Medicine Established a herbal garden collaboration with the Institute for Agro- technology & Rural Sciences of University of Colombo on 06.11.2018 at Weligatta New Town in Hambanthota District.
