Avurudu Festival and Cultural Evening 2026

The “Avurudu Festival and Cultural Evening 2026,” proudly organized by the Indigenous Medical Faculty Students’s Union, University of Colombo, was held with resounding success throughout the day on April 29, 2026, at the faculty premises.

The event was brought to fruition through the collective support and Collaboration of the Dean of Faculty of Indigenous Medicine,academic staff, union members, students and all other contributors.

This special occasion successfully fostered mutual camaraderie and fellowship among the students. Furthermore, it provided a valuable platform for developing their athletic and artistic talents while imparting a deeper understanding and appreciation of traditional cultural values.
