The Inauguration Ceremony of Certificate Course in Basic Principles of Ayurveda Dietary Regimens – 2023
The Inauguration Ceremony of Certificate Course in Basic Principles of Ayurveda Dietary Regimens – 2023 was held on 29th of October 2023 at the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo. This is the first certificate course introduced by the Department of Basic Principles, Ayurveda Anatomy and Physiology and it was mediated by the Postgraduate and Mid-Career Development Unit of Faculty of Indigenous Medicine. The main objectives of the course are to enhance the quality of life through the knowledge of Ayurveda diet and dietary regimens and to update the knowledge of relevant employers and enhance the quality of their services.
The Inauguration ceremony was conducted in Hybrid Mode and it marked the beginning of an enriching educational journey for the participants. The event was attended by Dean of the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, Professor Pathirage Kamal Perera, Director of Agro Service Authority (Western Province), Mr. Dilrukshan Dabarey as the chief quest, 03 members of Sri Lanka Chef Association, Coordinator of Postgraduate and Mid-Career Development Unit, Senior Lecturer Dr. M.W.S.J. Kumari, Head of the Department of Basic Principles, Ayurveda Anatomy and Physiology, Asso: Professor S.P. Molligoda, Course Coordinator Dr. S.P.A.S. Nishan, members of Academic and non-academic staff of the faculty and enthusiastic students.
