Inauguration Ceremony of Certificate Course in Massage Therapy – 2024 – 9th Intake

The formal Inauguration Ceremony of Certificate Course in Massage Therapy -2024-9^th intake at Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo was successfully held on 02^nd of November 2024.  With the scope of producing a massage therapist enriched with the knowledge, attitudes and skills according to the Ayurveda concepts and principles in the field of massage therapy, The Department of Ayurveda Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics and Community Medicine, Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo is conducting this external course. This course is focusing on the highly demanded areas of massage therapy which will keep advancing the nation’s economy.

The Dean of the Faculty, Professor Pathirage Kamal Perera headed the inauguration and Ms.Dhammika Wijesinghe, Chief Secretary, Western Province graced the occasion as the guest of Honor. Prof.SKMK Herapathdeniya – Head of the Department, Professors, Senior lecturers and academic staff members, course coordinator and the registered students for the course, participated at this event.
