THE WORKSHOP ON STRESS MANAGEMENT FOR ACADEMICS

The Indigenous Medical Education Unit (IMEU) of the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine (FIM), University of Colombo, organized a workshop on “Stress Management for Academics” under the visionary leadership of Senior Professor (Chair) H.D. Karunaratne, Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo, and under the guidance of the Dean of the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine and Chairperson of the Indigenous Medical Education Unit, Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo, Professor Pathirage Kamal Perera. This workshop was facilitated by the resource person Senior Professor Piyanjali De Zoysa, Clinical Psychologist, Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, on the 7th of May 2024, from 09.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. Academics and Academic Supportive Staff in Indigenous Medicine participated from the FIM, University of Colombo and other universities. This workshop was organized by Dr. Y.A.U.D. Karunarathne, Coordinator, IMEU, FIM and coordinated by Dr. R.M.D.A. Amarasiri and Dr. M.M.M. Nifras, the academic staff members of IMEU, FIM.
