Workshop on Electrocardiogram (ECG) and Interpretations – Department of Unani Clinical Medicine
A workshop (1st Batch) under the workshop series on Diseases of the Cardiovascular System (Amraze Qalb), focusing on Electrocardiogram and Interpretations, was successfully organized and conducted on the 10th of December 2023, from 9.00am to 1.00pm by Dr. (Mrs.) A.M.Muthalib, Head of the Department of Unani Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo. The workshop was held under the guidance of Professor Pathirage Kamal Perera, Founder Dean, Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo.
Dr. Kaumadi Karunagoda, the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo, honored the workshop with her participation. This event, organized as a Continuous Medical Education (CME) program, aimed to keep indigenous healthcare professionals updated with recent advancements in modern medical technologies.
The workshop was facilitated by Consultant Cardiologist, Dr. M.H.M. Zacky, who holds degrees MBBS (Col), MD (Col), MRCP (Lon), MRCP (UK), and coordinated by Senior Lecturer, Dr. (Mrs.) J. Rumaiza.
