Institute of Indigenous Medicine ceremonially commenced duties in the New Year on 03rd of January, with a special function at the institute premises. The ceremony was attended by the Director, Prof. Priyani A. Paranagama, Heads of Ayurveda & Unani Departments and some key Academic and Administrative officers of the Institute.The function commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Director and followed by the singing of the National Anthem. This was followed by the reading of the public servants’ oath by the Director. The event concluded with a “Dharma Deshana” and blessed to all staff and students of the IIM.
