Application are invited from suitable Sri Lankan candidates for the post of Security Consultant in the Institute of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo

1). An officer not below than the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police, Captain of the Army or an Officer of equivalent rank in the other Armed Services,   Or

2). A person who possesses a degree from a recognized University/HEI with not less than five (5) years’ experience in security work  Or

3). A holder of the post of Security Inspector, Grade I or above in the University Security Service and confirmed in the present post with not less than eight (08) years of satisfactory service in those grades

Assisting and advising the Institutional administration and student counsellors to keep the peace and harmony of the Institute. Build up a coordination between the Institute and the Police and Forces to handle conflict situations. Identifying potential risks to the property, staff and students of the Institute. Evaluating, updating and providing recommendation on  the existing security system and twenty-four-hour supervision of the security condition

A sum of Rs. 100,000/- will be paid per month

Selection by a structured interview. Applicants who have scored 40% marks or above at the structured interview are eligible to be considered for selection

All the applications should be forwarded to the Assistant Registrar / Establishments Branch, Institute of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo, Rajagiriya in the given format with relevant copies of the educational other relevant qualifications by registered post stating “The post of Security Consultant” on the upper left corner of the envelope to reach on or before 16.09.2019
