New Year Celebration at the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo

The Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo, celebrated the new year 2024 with great tradition. This New Year celebration is a remarkable moment after transforming into a faculty. The celebration was graced by the Vice-Chancellor, Senior Professor (Chair), H.D. Karunaratne, Dean of the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, Professor Pathirage Kamal Perera, acting Registrar, University of Colombo, Ms Vajira Hapuhinna Jayaratne, Bursar, Ms JTL Dharmasena and Department Heads and senior administrative staff. Further the Director Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre Colombo, Professor Ankuran Dutta, and Chinese government representative Mr. Wang Li took part in the New Year celebration at the faculty. The celebration was held under the coordination of the Deputy Registrar of the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, Mr. M. L. Warnasuriya AAL, with the participation of Academic and non-academic staff and the students of the faculty. Parallel to the ceremony tree-planting ceremony was organized by the faculty.
