Inauguration Ceremony of Certificate Course in Yoga Therapy -2023
The formal Inauguration Ceremony of Certificate Course in Yoga Therapy -2023 designed by the Department of Ayurveda, Pharmacology, and Pharmaceutics & Community Medicine, Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo was commenced on 01st of July 2023.
This is a Yoga training course offered by Sri Lanka’s highest ranked university that provides guidance for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
The Dean of the Faculty Professor Pathirage Kamal Perera headed the inauguration and Professor Sh. Ankuran Dutta, The director, Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre of India in Sri Lanka has graced the occasion as the guest of Honor and delivered a speech on Importance of Yoga. The Heads of the departments, the Coordinator, Mid-career Guidance Unit, the course coordinator and the academic staff members of the faculty and selected students of the course participated at this event.
