Free Unani Medical Camp conducted under Community Outreach programme Organized by Department of Unani Clinical Medicine

In order to provide health care services and raise awareness of the Unani medical system, the Department of Unani Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo, organized a free one-day Unani medical camp on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at the All-Ceylon YMMA conference hall-Dematagoda in Sri Vajirangana Mawatha, Colombo 09, additionally to enhance the final year students’ clinical competence. Dr. (Mrs.) A. M. Muthalib, the Head of the Department of Unani Clinical Medicine, besides with the members of the department and the students of BUMS 2017/2018 participated in the camp. 250 patients attended and benefited from the medical camp. Dr. MHM. Hafeel, Senior lecturer of the department was the coordinator of this medical camp.
