Congratulations to the Recipients of the University of Colombo Senate Awards for Research Excellence!

The University of Colombo held its Annual Research Symposium on 28th October 2025 with the theme “Research for Resilience – Advancing Knowledge in a Changing World” in the New Arts Theater Auditorium, University of Colombo.

During the event, the Senate Awards for Research Excellence, which recognize outstanding research contributions of academics in the university, were awarded, and two general category awards were presented to Prof Pathirage Kamal Perera and Dr. Saroja Werakoon of the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo, for the year 2024.
