Congratulations! Miss. A. H. Zainab, final year student of 18/19 batch of Unani Section, FIM, UOC, has been named as a Global Student Entrepreneur Award (GSEA) National Finalist for Sri Lanka.

Miss. A. H. Zainab, final year student of 18/19 batch of Unani Section, FIM, UOC, has been named as a Global Student Entrepreneur Award (GSEA) National Finalist for Sri Lanka. In the 1st round she got selected among the 6 finalists, on 24th of January in the final round she won the Global Student entrepreneur award Sri Lankan finalist for 2025 with cash prize of 200,000LKR. She has been provided entrance to compete at the 2025 GSEA Global Quarterfinals competition hosted in Nagpur, India from 7-10 March 2025. GSEA is an international competition series and premier award for university students who run a business.

Her business is named as “Swing by Ryz” where she makes baby swings for new-born to 13 years old. These swings are made from sustainable & eco-friendly material, handcrafted in small batches by local seamstresses.
