Collaborative Yoga Program - FIM and ICCR

Faculty of Indigenous Medicine (FIM), University of Colombo collaborated with the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Colombo, of the Indian Cultural Centre of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) to strengthen the cultural relations of India and Sri Lanka, conducted a collaborative Yoga program on 24 th May 2023 to provide the knowledge and experiences to develop skills in students at FIM. This Yoga programme was conducted by the ICCR with Department of Dravyaguna Vignana and Swasthavritta, Faculty of Indigenous Medicine. At the programme inauguration Prof. Pathirage Kamal Perera, Dean Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, Prof. Ankuran Dutta, ICCR in Sri Lanka Indian, Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center, Colombo graced the occasion. This prgramme was coordinated by the Dr. (Mrs.) Y.S.G. Wimalasiri, Senior Lecturer, FIM and Dr. Kaumadi Karunagoda Faculty representative of the International Office, University of Colombo.
