Chinese Professional Delegation from Fujian province Visits University of Colombo
A delegation comprising 05 Traditional Chinese Medical Professionals from Fujian Province, and 2 officials of the Fujian Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and the Fujian General Chamber of Commerce & Fujian Association of Fellow Provincial in Sri Lanka visited the University of Colombo.
The highlight of the visit was a productive discussion held with the University’s Vice Chancellor, Senior Professor (Chair) H.D. Karunaratne at the College House on 26thSeptember 2023. This discussion centered on future prospects for collaboration and networking between the two nations in the fields of research and advanced studies of traditional medicine. On this occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, Prof. P. K. Perera participated. The coordination of this momentous occasion was overseen by Mr. Wang Li president of the International Postgraduate Students Association.
