Children’s day Celebration 2023 at special needs center with involving Final BUMS students (2016/2017)

An exceptionalChildren’s Daycelebration took place at Ash Shiffa children with special needs center, Mahabuthgamuwa, Kotikawatte, on 01.10.2023, which was organized by Department of Unani clinical medicine collaboration with enthusiastic final year BUMS (2016/2017) medical students. The event aimed to create a joyful (Games and Fun activities, Art and Music Therapy, Talent Showcase) and inclusive atmosphere for children with disabilities while fostering a deeper understanding of disability among the medical students. The celebration successfully combined compassion, medical knowledge, and fun activities to make it a memorable and heartwarming experience for all participants. Dr. M. H. Fazlul Haq, the senior lecturer of the department, oversaw the coordination of this event.
