Appointment of Coordinator – Postgraduate and Mid-Career Development Unit (PGMCDU) Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo

The Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo, is pleased to announce Professor Kaumadi Karunagoda is appointed as the Coordinator of the Postgraduate and Mid-Career Development Unit (PGMCDU), effective from 10th September 2025.

The appointment formality took place in the presence of the Professor Pathirage Kamal Perera, Dean of the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, Dr. Saumya Kumari, the outgoing Coordinator of the PGMCDU. The event was also graced by the Deputy Registrar, Deputy Bursar, Senior Assistant Registrar, and the Coordinators of the Faculty’s Postgraduate Courses.

This occasion was marked an important step in strengthening the leadership and direction of the PGMCDU, reaffirming the continued commitment of the faculty to excellence in postgraduate education and mid-career professional development process.
