Opening ceremony of the New Building : West Wing

Today is a special moment for many of us. Dreams do not come true very often. Today, some dreams did come true. Thursday 19th December 2024 marked the start of a new chapter for the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo. On this day, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Colombo declared open three storey new building for the academic purposes of the medical students which can accomodate 900 students at one time. This building is equipped with all the facilities creating a conducive learning environment for our medical students. It was constructed by the NERDC. We are very proud that this building was built utilizing the University generated funds and donor agencies funds. We very much appreciated the leadership and support provided by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo throughout this journey. We also thank to Engineering Department of the University of Colombo behind us in every moment of this journey.
