Undergraduate Research Forum of iCAUST 2024
Ayurveda, Unani and Siddha undergraduate research forum of iCAUST 2024 is designed to encourage and empower young researchers and innovators among undergraduate students. The Faculty of Indigenous Medicine (FIM) is one of the premier higher educational institutes in Sri Lanka that provides directions in Ayurveda, Unani and Indigenous systems of medicine at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The College of Ayurveda was first started in 1929 and subsequently upgraded and affiliated with the University of Colombo in 1977 as the Institute of Indigenous Medicine (IIM). The Faculty of Indigenous Medicine of the University of Colombo was established as the 10th Faculty of the University of Colombo effective from the 1st of March 2023. Development of skills and knowledge about Ayurveda, Unani and Indigenous medicine are the key objectives of FIM.
During the journey of this long period, the institute has achieved success in several fields including academic activities, research & innovations with value added products and services, publications and collaborative works with other relevant national and international institutions. With this background, the Organizing Committee of iCAUST-2024 organizes the Undergraduate research forum 2024 as a part of iCAUST 2024 to share knowledge and experiences while encouraging the local students’ research activities and introducing young inventors, strat-ups and entrepreneurs in the Ayurveda, Unani and Siddha sector.

Conference Theme and Sub-themes – As per the main conference
Registration fee – Early Bird Registration LKR 1500. 00
Late registration – LKR 2000.00
Note: Extra Rs. 1000 will be added, When there are more than one paper presentations of the same local presenting authors.
Extra 10$ and 15$ dollars will be added for extra papers of the same author from SAARC countries and other countries respectively.
