Welcome to 10th iCAUST 2024 and “De Aa Suki Dakshina”


Welcome to the “10th International Conference on Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Traditional Medicine (iCAUST 2024)” and 1st International Research symposium on “De Aa Suki Dakshina”, Exhibition and Trade fair 2024.
We extend our cordial invitation to participate in the “10th International Conference on Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Traditional Medicine (iCAUST 2024)” and 1st International Research symposium on “De Aa Suki Dakshina”, Exhibition and Trade fair 2024” organized by the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine (IIM), University of Colombo and Department of Ayurveda, Ministry of Health, Southern Province, Sri Lanka. This conference will be held on 9th and 10th August 2024. The main event of the conference will be held in the Galle fort, Galle, the capital of Sri Lanka’s Southern Province. The heritage value of the fort has been recognized by the UNESCO and the site has been inscribed as a cultural heritage UNESCO World Heritage Site for its unique exposition of “an urban ensemble which illustrates the interaction of European archecture and south Asian traditions from the 16th to the 19th centuries. Further it will be an opportunity to explore the rich cultural heritage and natural wonders of this region, believed to hold a legendary connection to the Ramayana through “Rumassala hill”.

The aim of the conference is to provide a platform for eminent researchers, academicians, physicians, traditional and medical practitioners, manufacturers and exporters of Ayurveda and herbal products, health tourism personals, members of the corporate sector, agriculture sector and stake holders from all over the world. This conference will provide an overview of the latest information on Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Traditional Medicine approach to health and health tourism including practical strategies for incorporating evidence-based modalities into clinical practice, using practices to prevent illnesses, recommendations for management of specific conditions and tools to evaluate the latest related research findings.
