This is a part of the International Conference on Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Traditional Medicine (iCAUST 2025), reflecting a commitment to encourage and develop innovation among the next generation of scholars and practitioners.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Faculty of Indigenous Medicine (FIM)&nbsp;of the&nbsp;University of Colombo, a premier higher educational institution in Sri Lankaplays a pivotal role in advancing knowledge and practice in Ayurveda, Unani, and other indigenous medical systems. Initially established as the&nbsp;College of Ayurveda&nbsp;in 1929 and affiliated with the University of Colombo in 1977 as the&nbsp;Institute of Indigenous Medicine (IIM), it was officially recognized as the&nbsp;10th Faculty of the University of Colombo&nbsp;on&nbsp;March 1, 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Over the decades, FIM has made significant contributions to academic development, research, innovation, and the creation of valueadded products and services. It has also fostered meaningful collaborations with both national and international institutions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Undergraduate Research Forum 2025 builds on this legacy&nbsp;by providing a vibrant and inclusive space for undergraduate students to share their research, explore new ideas, and engage in knowledge exchange.
